Biography
Guitarist, composer.
Originally from Normandy (France), Pierre trained in classical guitar under Alain Rizoul at the Rouen Conservatoire until 2003.
At the age of 15, in 2004, he moved to Jerez de la Frontera in Spain to learn flamenco guitar. He attended the academy of Manuel Lozano ‘El Carbonero’ before meeting the master guitarist and composer José-Luis Balao, spending two years at his academy. Balao remains a major source of influence and inspiration for him. It was during this period that he began composing for the guitar.
Subsequently, Pierre took his artistic career in various directions, exploring electronic music, comic books and even video game design.
From 2020 onwards, he returned fully to the guitar through his own compositions as well as Balao’s repertoire, which remains a key part of his work. He devotes himself to developing his personal style, performing in concerts and making recordings.
Currently based in Ardèche, he also teaches students throughout the year.
